Is a syllabus merely a collection of texts appended to a warning not to plagiarize? Do we expect our courses to cover just the facts, or to move our students towards an understanding that exceeds the boundaries of the class? If you are in the process of designing your own course or suspect that one day you will have to, or if you have criticisms about the courses you are teaching in, attend the Course Design Advanced Teaching Workshop to lay out your concerns, share your ideas, and get some tips to make your course a success!

If you have questions, please contact the workshop facilitators: Michael Rapoport and Bofang Li
