The goal of the Yale Scientific Teaching Course is to improve undergraduate STEM education by training Yale graduate students and postdocs to apply the spirit and rigor of research to their teaching.
The 2017 CTL Forum on how faculty are using digital technology to meet pedagogical goals was held on Oct 2, 2017 in Yale’s Center for Teaching and Learning. Dr. Chun reflected on his teaching experience and how he has incorporated technology into the classroom. The Forum comprised of two hour-long panel discussions highlighted a range teaching experiences and technology solutions by faculty from across the Yale community.
In January, Yale’s Center for Teaching and Learning will move into renovated space in Sterling Memorial Library. The new home will include a technology learning studio, several flexible classroom or meeting spaces, and one-on-one tutoring rooms.
