Have you ever considered turning your Ph.D. thesis into a book manuscript? Come join us for a panel discussion and Q&A with three editors from renowned university presses to find out how! Come hear: Jaya Chatterjee, Associate Editor for World History, Geopolitics and International Relations at Yale University Press Andrew Kinney, General Editor at Harvard University Press whose areas of coverage include Anthropology, American Studies and Environmental Studies James Lance, Senior Editor of Religious Studies, Geography, and Global Urban Studies at Cornell University Press They will cover topics including how to contact publishers, how to write a convincing book proposal, what editors look for, and what to expect throughout the process. You will also have an opportunity to sign up for one-on-one meetings with the editors following the panel (see registration form)!
