Linked ITW-to-ATW: Disability in the Classroom (2 sessions)

Event Description

How do we think about disability in the classroom? When, where, and for whom can it appear; when and where is it hidden? This two-session workshop series addresses these and other questions.. In the ITW, we will learn how to critically engage with disability resources and accommodations, consider how disability affects student and instructor teaching and learning, and use this to inform how we might improve our own teaching practices and materials. In the ATW, we’ll turn to more holistic approaches to disability pedagogy and consider further concrete ways of approaching these questions in our syllabi, assessments, and course planning. Please contact Delfina González (delfina.gonzalez@yale.edu) or Audrey Holt (audrey.holt@yale.edu)… . . This workshop series will be held in person. — Event Details: https://yaleconnect.yale.edu/rsvp?id=2261921
