Event Description

This workshop is a six-session series designed for doctoral students who have advanced to the All But Dissertation stage (ABD) and have started, or are about to start, writing their dissertation. The workshop will help you learn about the dissertation process, discuss how to be more productive at the initial stage of your writing, and allow you to share your experience with your peers. During the six sessions of this program, we will address effective practices for dissertation writing and time management, strategies for note-taking, drafting, revision and editing, ways to minimize distraction, procrastination, perfectionism, and demoralization. During each session, we will discuss your dissertation progress and set goals for the next week. We expect that registered participants attend all sessions.
