Research shows that collecting in-semester feedback is a highly effective practice teachers can utilize to improve their teaching. Mid-semester evaluations (MSE) allow instructors to improve their courses midstream, and make teaching adjustments that impact the learning of their current students. In addition, MSE generally produce quality feedback since students have a shared stake in the results and instructors can seek clarification on confusing responses.
