Fundamentals of Teaching
Open to anyone, though mostly focused on graduate students acting as first time Teaching Fellows. This Fundamentals of Teaching workshop series is designed for Teaching Fellows from any discipline.
What to Expect
Whether you are teaching for the first time, or have a few semesters of teaching under your belt, this inclusive Fundamentals of Teaching workshop is designed for people of all disciplines, and encompasses multiple teaching resources: Bloom’s taxonomy, grading strategies, active learning, soliciting feedback, inclusive teaching, etc. Participants will walk away with a concrete list of resources and teaching strategies they can employ in their own classroom. Join us Tuesday mornings for this four-part Fundamentals series (breakfast included!), running from October 24th through November 14th, 9.30-11am, room TBD. If you have any questions, please contact Usha at firstname.lastname@example.org or Gina at email@example.com.
Participating in at least three of the four sessions is required for the Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP).
