Aiyana Bobrownicki is an Evaluation Project Manager at the Yale Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). She contributes to the evaluation of two major national STEM education initiatives, the National Academies Summer Institutes and the HHMI SEA-PHAGES program. As a Yale alumna with a Research Intensive B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, she brings a personal understanding of STEM education that both motivates and informs her current STEM education evaluation work. Aiyana specializes in modeling and evaluating STEM education programs according to the Cornell Systems Evaluation Protocol, as well as developing and supporting infrastructure for cross-institutional research collaborations. Outside of work, she enjoys contributing to STEM education and girls education as a volunteer for the New Haven Science Fair and Girl Scouts. Aiyana values her role with the CTL as an opportunity to contribute to the growing evidence base for STEM teaching reform. She enjoys engaging in the CTL’s educational goals by training student researchers and contributing to the STEM education and evaluation communities through conference presentations, workshops, and publications.
