It’s a truism that you know you’ve learned something once you can teach it to someone else. And it’s a truism supported by research – education literature confirms that peer-to-peer interactions activate student learning, leading to a deeper understanding of content and increased skills. We will also touch upon the construction of learning communities to promote networks of support between peers in an academic setting. This workshop will focus on ways to diversify your teaching and promote student engagement by integrating peer learning activities into your lesson plan. Contact Eric Rosenberg and Hannah Lant for more information.
